SUBJECT:?Tractor Accident

On Thursday, December 5th, 2019 shortly after 1pm the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office and Menomonie Fire Department responded to the 3400 block of 420th Ave. in the Town of Menomonie, for a report of a male subject who had been run over by a tractor.

Upon arrival, Deputies learned that the victim was riding in the bucket of the tractor, while driving eastbound on 420th Ave. The tractor drove over a bump in the road causing the victim to lose his balance and fall out of the tractor. The 66-year-old male victim, a town of Menomonie resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s name is being withheld at this time pending family notifications.

This accident is still under investigation by the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office and the Dunn County Medical Examiner’s Office.
