We have seen very recent reports of a train derailment at Highway 12 at 190th St. near Knapp. Scanner reports indicate that 20-30 cars are off the tracks. There were no injuries from the accident and no hazardous leaks have happened, but highway 12 is closed at the accident. 300 gallons of diesel fuel ran out from the train into a field, and that is being cleaned up.

The Dunn County Sheriff just reported 12 is closed from 2nd St. to County Highway K. It will remain closed at least through late afternoon Monday and all traffic is being re-routed. Please continue to avoid the area.
