Maintenance crews from the Dunn County Highway Department plan to make concrete repairs to east- and westbound I-94 between the Menomonie area exits - exit 41 (WIS 25) and exit 45 (County B), resulting in the closure of lanes in both directions, an on-ramp and a rest area.
The rest area off westbound I-94 will be closed from 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6 to 7 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8. In addition, the ramp from WIS 25 to westbound I-94 will be closed from 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7 through 7 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, and westbound motorists will have to use an alternate route.
The following lane closures also are planned:
- Monday, Oct. 7: The driving, or right, lane on westbound I-94 will be closed from 6 a.m. until the next morning.
- Tuesday, Oct. 8: The passing, or left, lane on east- and westbound I-94 will be closed from 6 a.m. until the next morning.
- Wednesday, Oct. 9: The driving, or right, lane on eastbound I-94 will be closed from 6 a.m. until the next morning.
