Results were quick in the state-wide race for Supreme Court, where many news media declared Janet Protasiewicz over Dan Kelly, with a fairly substantial margin. The final unofficial results gave Protasiewicz 55.52% of the state-wide vote.

In the 8th Senate District Dan Knodl defeated Democrat Jodi Habush Sinykin with 50.9% of the vote in a very close race. Knodl's win gives the Republicans a veto-proof 22-11 majority in the Senate. In previous statements Knodl has suggested he would support impeachment proceedings against Janet Protasiewicz if she would be elected.

All three of the state-wide referenda passed with a large margin.

The unofficial results in the School District of the Menomonie Area School board race are:

Winning candidates:

Dale Dahlke - 3511

Amy Riddle-Swanson - 3328

Amber Kersting - 2697

Losing Candidates:

Brittany Weiker - 2270

Scott Parker - 2264

Charlie Schneider - 2101
