Today's Report from the Wisconsin Elections Commission shows 315,429 absentee ballots have been requested across the state. 277,824 of these ballots have been sent out to voters, and 25,961 have been returned to the clerks.
The date to register to vote has passed, although (assuming in-person voting occurs) you may register at the polls on April 7.
The last day to request an absentee ballot is April 2, but everyone should be aware that there is a huge demand for absentee ballots, and if you believe you will not be able to vote in-person, you should request your absentee ballot as soon as possible so that local clerks will be able to process them. The Elections Commission website has a page of information about the details of absentee ballots and other COVID-19 issues with the election.
