The Healthy Environment Action Team (HEAT) of the Health Dunn Right coalition is holding a free showing of the documentary Kiss the Ground

Come join the Healthy Environment Action Team for an award-winning documentary and discussion with local experts about our soil health and what we can do to sustain it. The 45-minute film, Kiss the Ground, is visually appealing and a dramatic statement about why soil health matters to each of us. This film is a compelling invitation for each of us to join with a panelist discussion highlighting what is being done to promote soil health in West Central Wisconsin and what actions each of us can take to protect the land where we live.

Panelists:

  • Tom Quinn, the Chair of Dunn County Planning, Resources and Development Committee

  • Caleb and Lauren Langworthy, farmers and local producers

  • Tara Daun, Farmers Union Watershed Coordinator

Time & Place

The free movie showing is on July 21st, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Rassbach Heritage Museum, 1820 John Russell Road, Menomonie, WI, 54751.
