Join the Elk Mound Area Lions in celebrating this holiday season with the Lights of Love tree to be located in front of the Community Center (Hwy12 and Cty Rd H, Elk Mound). The Lions will be stringing white lights on the tree and invite the public to honor or remember the special people in their lives, or express their season's greetings, by sponsoring colored bulbs for the tree.
The tree is a meaningful way to celebrate those we hold dear and each dedication helps to light up the lives of others in our community.
Donations of $10 per bulb can be made for the following recognitions:
BLUE - In Memory of someone who has passed
GREEN -In Honor or Memory of a member of the US Armed Forces
YELLOW - In Honor of someone living
ORANGE - In Honor of Child's First Christmas
RED -Wishes of Season's Greetings from you to the community
Businesses and individuals can also participate as Sponsor Partners at various donation levels. Sponsor Partners also receive up to three bulb dedications for the tree.
Names of those being remembered or honored and the event sponsor partners will be displayed near the tree and also shared through social media. All are invited for a brief program and lighting of the tree on Sunday, December 1 at 6:30 P.M. Enjoy holiday music performed by the Elk Mound Schools Music Departments and beverages provided by Trinity United Methodist Church.
