Meet the Author - Steve Sommers

Saturday, April 12, 11am-2pm. Meet author and illustrator Steve Sommers. He'll have books for sale and signing.

Steven Roy (Steve) Sommers is the author of the vampire hunting manual Vampire Hunter's
Illustrated: How to destroy the un dead while not killing the living because you'd feel really
bad about that, wouldn't you?, Evil Super-Villains Need Love, Too and other important Wis-
dom, and Breakfast with the Anti-Christ. He's edited and provided commentary for several
comic book anthologies including; Forbidden Comic Books: Seduction of the Innocent, Ro-
bocalypse: How to survive the Robot Rebellion, Space Pirates: The Rogue Archetype in Mid-
Twentieth Century Comic Books, My Ghoulfriend's Back and You're Gonna be in Trouble:
Pre-Comic Book Code Horror Comics, Jungle Girls, Attack of the Bug Eyed Monsters and Evil
Robots Volumes I and II.
Steve is the illustrator for the children's books, Sneaky Cows and The Truth about Space Cows
as well as the four volume graphic novel series Tales from the Cosmic Patrol. He is a former
military linguist with degrees in Health Information Management and Speech Communications.
Currently Steve is at work on the autobiographical book The NSA Puzzle Palace of Doom and
other mostly true stories.
