Producers-Only Market

All of the items for sale at the Menomonie Farmers Market are grown, raised, and pro­duced by the people behind the tables. Absolutely no re-sale is allowed! All of our customers are encouraged to ask vendors where, when, and how the items are produced. This gives you, the customer, complete transparency as to where your purchase comes from and allows you to shake the hand, literally, of the person that produced it for you to enjoy.

At some markets, farmers are allowed to buy produce and other items from outside sources to provide a greater variety to customers, but the downside is that you no longer know where that food is coming from, how it’s grown, how far it’s traveled, etc. Our local supermarkets already have that kind of food covered.
