Polyhedrons (Greek word meaning many faces) are solid figures with many plane faces, typically more than six. Using paper plates, you can create a multi-sided geometric sculpture to decorate your room, or toss around! This hands-on activity helps develop fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, and an understanding of geometric concepts like polygons and polyhedra.
And there are plenty of other things in Fulton's Workshop that might interest you, including micro:bit hands-on, our new Lego Wall, cardboard construction, magnet wall challenge, wind tunnel and many more. Come and explore! From 5 to 8 p.m. at the Rassbach Heritage Museum in Menomonie's Wakanda Park.
