Come support our mission trip to Honduras, by helping us turn spaghetti into water!
In September, six of us will be traveling to Honduras to drill a well for a local village. Did you know that, on average, the men and women in these communities walk 118 miles each month just to collect water for their households? And often, that water comes from rivers or streams--sources shared with animals for drinking and bathing, used for laundry, and even for swimming or personal hygiene.
That's if they're lucky enough to have a water source nearby. When those sources dry up, it's a different story. Families can go weeks without bathing. Children fall ill. Women suffer from skin rashes. All of this--simply because they don't have access to clean water.
Come enjoy a delicious meal of spaghetti and meatballs and take a chance to win some awesome items.
We will have a couple of boards for you to buy chances on to win some great items! Watch for more details as we continue to collect donations for these boards and share them here.
