I-94 re-opened at Menomonie

Update - I-94 was reopened to traffic in the late afternoon

 From a press release from the Meomonie Police Department

:I-94 Eastbound from Exit 45 to Exit 52 is closed due to a crash. Traffic is congested throughout the city, so plan accordingly. 

All Eastbound traffic is being re-routed to US 12/STH 29.

Various sources are reporting that the accident occurred when on semi collided with another that was moving slowly along the shoulder of the highway. One of the trucks was burning. Emergency responders are attempting to clear the road but it may be several hours before the road is re-opened.
