City Councilperson Matthew Crowe tonight announced his candidacy for mayor of Menomonie in a meeting tonight at Brewery Nonic. His announcement was generally well-received by the audience with the exception of one member who was clearly unhappy about the council's role in the proposed data center in Menomonie. We will continue to follow any announcements of candidates as we become awaare of them.
