Menomonie joined much of the county on April 14 by participating in the national "No Kings" protests against the actions of the Trump Administration. These protests are in response to the immigration crackdown in the US and as an answer to the military parade and celebration taking place in Washington, DC.
Organizers of the local protest stated that approximately 450 people attended in Menomonie. Nationally over 5 million people joined the protests in over 2000 places across the country.

Steve is a member of LION Publishers , the Wisconsin Newspaper Association, the Menomonie Area Chamber of Commerce, the Online News Association, and the Local Media Consortium, and is active in Health Dunn Right.
He has been a computer guy most of his life but has published a political blog, a discussion website, and now Eye On Dunn County.
