Governor Evers has signed Executive Order 47 which declares Chippewa, Dunn, and Clark counties as a disaster area due to the storm and tornado damage this week. This order follows Evers' visit to the Chippewa Valley on Wednesday, where he inspected the damage personally.
The order directs state agencies to aid in recovery in the counties and also allows deployment of the Wisconsin National Guard.
