THE BLANKET EXERCISE is a participatory learning activity to help participants understand how colonization in the United States of America has impacted the people who lived here long before
Columbus and other settlers arrived.
A blanket exercise took place in Menomonie at the First Congregational United Church of Christ. It concentrated on the Northwestern Wisconsin area and the tribes there, including the Ho-Chunk Nation. The attachment below is of the Powerpoint presentation that accompanied the exercise.
