Menomonie has for some years been working on a project to reduce the amount of Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and phosphorus in the city's stormwater runoff. On 7/15/2020 Randy Eide, Director of Public Works in Menomonie, gave a presentation to the Environmental Action (HEAT) team of the Health Dunn Right initiative. This is a recording of that presentation.
Currently the city has a goal of reducing the total load of suspended solids by 483 pounds per day. This talk shows the various ways the city is approaching this legally-mandated goal.
