Dunn County is conducting a Community Health Needs Assessment. This assessment is primarily to confirm that the primary health needs in the county have not changed since the last assessment.
According to Community Health Education Kaitlin Ingle:
The purpose of the Dunn County Community Health Needs Assessment is to identify the top health concerns of our community by reaching out to its residents directly. Your voice and perspective are important are critical to the findings of this assessment. Over the next few weeks, we hope to learn from our constituents what they view to be the most problematic health needs facing the county today.
In 2019, The Community Health Needs Assessment Steering Committee collected data from our initial survey and compiled a list of the top 5 health priorities suggested by the residents of Dunn County. With our data, we were also able to obtain information on the demographics (age, race, education, income) of our respondents to better understand the makeup of population that we serve.
After identifying these 5 health priorities, the Health Dunn Right Coalition was formed to address the issues mentioned most by the community. The work of the coalition has led to the development of the Health Dunn Right Community Resource Guide (https://dunn.myresourceguide.org/resources) which provides a centralized guide of the available resources to Dunn County residents for each of the health priority areas as well as other categories. With our survey for 2022, we hope to build upon our knowledge of the health concerns that reside in Dunn County and update our Resource Guide accordingly.
It would be greatly appreciated if you would take a few minutes out of your busy schedule to respond to our survey and share it with your network. This can include your friends, family, co-workers, or anyone else you could feel comfortable sharing this survey with.
