The School District of the Menomonie Area today announced that the district is seeking applicants to become board members. Board member Tanya Husby resigned from the board last week as her family is moving out of the Menomonie area. The board will appoint a new member and the district is accepting applications from interested community members. The district this morning released this statement:

SCHOOL BOARD SEEKS APPLICANTS TO FILL VACANCY

The Board of Education of the School District of the Menomonie Area is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the board created by the resignation of Tanya Husby. The vacancy will require an appointment by the board for the position, which will run through April 2023. Interested qualified electors of the school district are encouraged to submit a letter of application and contact information no later than 4:00 p.m. on August 3, 2022, to: SDMA Board of Education, 215 Pine Avenue E, Menomonie, WI 54751.
