For the past several months a group of concerned citizens has been meeting in Dunn County in an attempt to repair the news desert that we are quickly becoming. There has been a lot of motion on that front, one of which is the potential for training sessions to teach concerned people how to become citizen journalists.
UW-Stout journalism professor Kate Edenborg is putting together a workshop that provides community members with the tools and understanding of how to be a citizen journalist.
