Make a simple kaleidoscope, and learn about the science behind this light bending toy! Kaleidoscopes are devices with two or more mirrors tilted to each other at an angle, (usually enclosed in a tube) so that one or more objects on one end of these mirrors are shown as a regular symmetrical pattern when viewed from the other end, due to repeated reflection, presenting in an ever-changing view as it's rotated.
If this planned activity doesn't interest you, there are plenty of other things that might, including micro:bit hands-on, our new Lego Wall, cardboard construction, magnet wall challenge, wind tunnel and many more. Come and explore!
