The City of Menomonie has announced new solid waste fees for 2025. The primary change is that construction materials will now be accepted at the solid waste facility. Up to one pickup truck load will be accepted for a fee. No shingles are allowed. For larger quantities construction materials need to go to the transfer stations in Eau Claire or Baldwin, or the Eau Claire Landfill.
There are also updates to fees for bulky furniture and carpets. A full schedule of fees can be found on the city website.
