On Saturday, March 22, 2025, at approximately 9:05 p.m., the Menomonie Police Department responded to an armed robbery at 1501 9th St. E. / Bob and Steve’s BP Amoco.
The initial investigation showed a male subject entered the business and told the store clerk he had a handgun as he went behind the counter. The suspect then removed cash from a register and fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male in a brown jacket, grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, grey shoes, dark cloth gloves with tan tipped fingers, red hat, and a black face mask.
Additional information about this case will be released at a later time as this is an ongoing investigation.
The Menomonie Police Department requests that people in the area check their surveillance cameras for footage of the suspect from 8:00 pm through 9:30 pm on March 22nd, 2025.
