Burrito
La Veracruzana Grocery and Taqueria has been open for a while in Menomonie. It is a pleasant small grocery store carrying a range of Mexican food and other items and is located on Hils Ct, in the same strip mall as Ridgeland Appliance and several other stores.
We've been hearing quite a lot of buzz about their offering a little more authentic selection of take-out and dine-in food than has been available in Menomonie. I stopped in recently and had a burrito and a glass of Horchata, both of which were tasty and quite a lot fresher and more authentic tasitng than what I am used to in Menomonie. The burrito came with a nice assortment of salsa. The store basically has no eating ambience and very little seating, but would be a great place to take out a meal. The menu is limited but all of the food is made to order in the small kitchen in the back of the store.
