Often portrayed as some kind of all-purpose boogeyman, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives (DEI) are practical methods to improve the lives of a wide range of Americans from all walks of life. In this presentation, led by Dang Yang, participants will explore the more nuanced themes and foundational ideas surrounding DEI. By demystifying the ideas beyond misleading labels and inaccurate portrayals, participants will learn DEI's purpose, its impact, and its future. A moderated audience Q&A will follow the presentation. REGISTRATION REQUIRED at https://lephillips.librarycalendar.com/event/demystifying-dei-35463
