Due to the high demand for electricity on the regional grid, our cooperative members are urged to shift non-essential energy usage outside the hours of 6-10 p.m. tomorrow (6/23/25) as MISO (the regional grid operator) has issued a Maximum Generation Warning for that timeframe. This means that generation capacity for the region may be near or at its threshhold. Any shifting of usage outside of those hours are helpful to the regional grid. There is a possibility of a full load control for those members participating in that program. (If you participate in that program, you would have received a text or email notification this evening.)
