Press release

It's that time of the year again, sealcoat operations are ahead!

A sealcoat application involves spraying hot oil onto the roadway, followed by a layer of loose aggregate “chips.” While vehicles can drive on the chips right away, we strongly encourage drivers to slow down for their own safety and to help keep the material in place. After 24–48 hours, once the surface has cured, crews will return to sweep away the loose chips. This process plays a key role in protecting the pavement and extending the overall lifespan of the road. We appreciate your patience during this process!
