Update - Menomonie water main break and road closure

The road is now open again for traffic, but is temporarily patched with gravel. It will be repaved soon.

From the City of Menomonie:

5th Street West will be closed from 14th Avenue West to Menomonie High School until at least Tuesday, July 8 due to a water main break and resulting sinkhole. Water Department and Community Services crews are hard at work making the repair but the roadway will not be passable until next week. Thank you for your understanding and thank you to the crews fast to respond this holiday weekend!
