Wakanda pickleball and basketball courts are open

We’re excited to share that the new pickleball and basketball courts at Wakanda Park are ready for play!

As part of the Pine Avenue Project, two new pickleball courts, one full-size basketball court, and two practice hoops were added — with additional batting cages donated by the Menomonie Youth Baseball Program and basketball court equipment generously provided by the Menomonie Hoops Club.

While it’s a little late in the season to apply the final epoxy surfacing, temporary lines are painted so you can start enjoying the courts now! Final surfacing and permanent lines will be installed next spring.

A special thank you to the Menomonie Pickleball Club and their donors for their incredible generosity — next spring, both the new and existing pickleball and tennis courts will be resurfaced thanks to their support.
