Voting Guide for the Wisconsin Primary

We are down to the wire. On Tuesday you will all get the opportunity to help to direct the future of the state and the nation. Read that again. People often pass up the opportunity to vote and to be politically engaged. But trust me, this is important. I always vote, and I hope you do too. If you've already voted - thank you.  If you have not, here are some resources you may find useful.

If you do not know if you are registered, go to https://myvote.wi.gov.  You can look yourself up.

If you do not know what is on the ballot where you live - same answer, https://myvote.wi.gov.

Don't know where your poll is (and don't just assume it's the same place as always - some polls move every year) - https://myvote.wi.gov. Yes, this is starting to sound like a broken record but there is a LOT of information in one place.

To vote you need to being proof of identity. Again, both simple and complex. All the details are at https://bringit.wi.gov - A lot of id's are permissible, but not necessarily the ones you would think.

Still undecided on who to vote for?  I'm not going to tell you who to vote for. But there are many resources to help you decide. Multiple governor debates are available on this site.

There are many different non-partisan guides to help you out with your decision. The League of Women Voters has a site that is really helpful - go to https://www.vote411.org - enter your address, and it will build a personalized voting guide for you on-the-spot. You can select the candidates you are interested in and see information about them and their responses to questions. You can even compare candidates side-by-side.
