Citizen Action of Wisconsin Organizing Co-op of Western Wisconsin recently held a forum on healthcare, concentrating on things that can be done for healthcare providers and ways to make it possible to provide more health care providers in the market. Featured speakers included Lynn Breedlove, former Executive Director of Disability Rights Wisconsin and current Director of the Wisconsin Long-term Care Coalition, and Janet Zander, Public Policy Coordinator for the Greater Wisconsin Agency on Aging Resources. Robert Kraig, Executive Director of Citizen Action Wisconsin also spoke at the conference.
The presentation included a large range of information on the shortage of care workers in the state, and proposes solutions, legislative and otherwise.
