On April 20th at approximately 11:54 PM the Dunn County Sheriff's office responded to a call for an accident on Cty Trunk K and 670th Avenue in the Town of Menomonie. The Dunn County Sheriff's office, Wisconsin State Patrol, and Menomonie Fire Department responded to the scene. 

The accident was a single-car crash. The car had crested a hill going southbound and left the road, striking a tree. According to the Sheriff's Department speed and alcohol appeared to be involved in the crash.

There were three patients in the crash. One had been expelled from the car and the other two needed to be extracted from the heavily damaged. vehicle. Assistance was requested from the Spring Valley and Elmwood EMS. Three helicopters were requested. Two of the patients were flown from the scene, while the third was taken away by the EMS team and was later flown to a second hospital.
