Stepping Stones will not distribute turkeys this year, needs your support

From a press release from Stepping Stones:

Thanksgiving Update: We have made the difficult decision not to distribute turkeys or hams for holiday meals this year.

In the past, we have been able to provide turkeys and hams due to a combination of credits with local groceries and donations from individuals, churches, and businesses.

This year, we cannot afford to get these items. Store credits and monetary donations need to be used to purchase basic items for our pantry and other programs.

If you use the pantry, we will try our best to have other holiday-related items like stuffing.

If you, or your church or business wanted to donate turkeys or provide funding for us to purchase turkeys this year, please keep the support coming. We will use the funding to keep food abundant in our pantry. Instead of turkeys and hams, please consider donations of peanut butter, pasta, and other staples.
