Menomonie, Wis. — The Universities of Wisconsin Board of Regents has approved promotions and tenure recommendations for 18 University of Wisconsin-Stout faculty members effective for the 2024-25 academic year.

Promoted to associate professor with tenure

Provost Glendalí Rodríguez, vice chancellor for Academic Affairs, celebrated the professors’ commitment to success.
“I look forward to recognizing the faculty and their accomplishments as the new academic year kicks off,” Rodríguez said. “Our polytechnic mission — that focus on applied learning, business partnerships and career-focused education — continues to guide their work across diverse disciplines, and each year I am inspired by the hard work of the faculty.”
The 2024-25 academic year began Aug. 19. Opening Day activities, including campuswide Engagement Sessions for faculty and staff, are Monday, Aug. 26. Classes begin Wednesday, Sept. 4.
In the fall of 2023, UW-Stout had 222 faculty members.
