With 38% of the vote in, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel has called the vote for the Voter ID referendum. The vote currently is 61% yes and 39% no. This referendum puts the requirement for Voter ID into the state constitution, following the current state law. The referendum was introduced to make it more difficult for the state (and specifically the State Supreme Court) to remove the Voter ID requirement in Wisconsin.
