ATV/UTV rules in Menomonie

A reminder from the CIty of Menomonie and the Menomonie Police Department:

Starting October 1st, 2024, it will be legal to drive ATV/UTVs on designated City of Menomonie Streets!

If you're under the age of 18:

- To operate, you must have a valid ATV/UTV Certificate and wear a DOT approved helmet.

- To ride in the vehicle, you must wear a DOT approved helmet.

All ATV/UTVs must:

- Only operate from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.

- Ride in a single file line.

- Not operate at a speed greater than the posted limit.

- Have head lights, tail lights, brake lights, and turn signals.

- Have proof of insurance.

- Be operated by someone with a valid driver's license.
