Between 200 and 250 people lined North Broadway near the interstate on Saturday afternoon to join the nationwide April 5 Hands Off Protest. In the breezy, brisk weather, protesters held signs demanding the government keep Medicare and Medicaid benefits, and protesting the Trump administration and Elon Musks involvement in DOGE.
We spoke to Diane Morehouse, one of the protesters.
