The People's Map Commission appointed by Governor Evers is continuing to have hearings to receive input on the creation of fair maps in the state. The hearing concentrating on the 5th Congressional District will be held on Oct. 29 from 6-8:30 PM. The deadline for registering to comment during this hearing is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020.?Each speaker will have 3 minutes to speak. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis, with priority to residents of Wisconsin’s Fifth Congressional District. 

For anyone unable to join the virtual hearing, written comments are strongly encouraged. Written comments can be submitted at any time using the feedback form available on the People’s Maps Commission website?HERE. Written comments will be reviewed by the commissioners and are public record.
