This summer has been one continuous story of canceled music festivals and other events, leaving concert promoters and venues struggling financially, and fans disappointed. One of the great Wisconsin festivals every year is Milwaukee Irish Fest. This year Irish Fest is going virtual, and will be on-line at their website starting on Thursday and running through the weekend. The festival has something for everyone including music, food demonstrations, a Friday Fish-Fry Preparty, Church on Sunday morning, and many segments on Gaelic culture.

Some of the musical performances will be from previous Irish Fests, and some will be flown in virtually from the four corners of the earth. This year's fest will have a slightly more Wisconsin flavor and should be great fun.

The organizers have already spent $200,000 for the real-life festival that needed to be canceled, so although a lot of you out there are financially hurting, CelticMKE would appreciate any donations made during the festival to help to pay off some of those costs. You can, of course, donate directly on-line.

The festival may be viewed at the website, on Facebook Live, and on YouTube.
