It's been a long day at the office, but WisCommunity is now Eye On Dunn County. All of the heavy lifting is (I think) finished and there are mostly lots of niggling little oddities to fix. The site name was originally picked for a completely different purpose. I had imagined it as a state-wide site
WisCommunity has been selected to participate in the LION Publishers Sustainability Audit program. The program includes a thorough assessment of each participating news business, including actionable recommendations, resources, and up to $20,000 in direct funding to help them take the next steps
So - here we go. This is the new long-promised website. Things will be a little rough for a while as we make improvements to how things look and behave. There is still a lot of work to do.
