‘Evolving Site’ to be on view Sept. 6-Oct. 2
This fall, the Foster Gallery at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will present “Evolving Site” curated by Ned
Gannon, professor of art & design.
The exhibition will be on view from Sept. 6-Oct. 2, with an opening reception from 6-7:30 p.m. Sept. 5. All
gallery events are free and open to the public.
Artists featured in the exhibition are Hector Acuna, Sonny Assu, Andy Curlowe, Zoey Frank, Ben Grasso, Kim
Keever and Kirsten Zinrngibl.
From the amorphous and the linear to the political and the frenetic, this selection of contemporary artists
working in a variety of two-dimensional mediums explore ways to conceptualize, define or deepen our
associations with space.
A gallery talk featuring artist Andy Curlowe will take place from 5-6 p.m. Sept. 20 in Room 101 of the Haas Fine
Arts Center.
For gallery hours, visit the Foster Gallery webpage.
