Join us for a transformative experience with the Chippewa Valley Green Bandana
Project (CVGBP) training! Across the United States, nearly one in five adults grapples
with mental health challenges, yet stigma persists as a major obstacle to those seeking
support. Originally launched on college campuses, the Green Bandana Project is now
extending its reach to communities nationwide.
Wearing the distinctive green bandana, engaging in open conversations about mental
health, and acquiring vital support skills can significantly diminish the stigma
associated with mental illness, addiction, and trauma. The CVGBP training is tailored to
aid individuals in assisting those undergoing mental health episodes or conditions.
This training empowers participants to:
● Gain awareness of available community resources
● Foster a supportive environment for individuals living with mental illness
● Contribute to eradicating stigma through visible acts of support
Join us in becoming part of the solution. Let's stand together, wear the bandana, and
support one another on the journey towards mental health awareness and acceptance.
