The Eau Claire Health Department has received a grant to provide free flu shots to all children under 19 years at community flu shot clinics. Adults may also obtain flu shots at the clinics for $45. These clinics will be held at multiple schools and at the Indoor Sports Complex. The clinics will run from Oct. 14-30. More information is available at http://flushot.echealthdepartment.org , and a flyer for the clinics including times and locations is attached below.

“The best way to avoid getting sick with the flu is to get a flu shot,” says Paulette Magur, Communicable Disease Division Manager. “Getting the flu shot protects you, your family, and others in the community. The more people who are vaccinated, the less chance the flu can spread throughout our community.”
