Former Abercrombie and Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries and two associates are being charged with running a sex-trafficking ring in New York City. Federal prosecutors say Jeffries and his romantic partner, Matthew Smith, employed James Jacobson to recruit young aspiring male models and engage in sexual “tryouts” with them between 2008 and 2015. The selected victims were then allegedly flown to sex parties at Jeffries’ and Smith’s New York City and Hamptons homes and at hotels around the globe.
