Sixty emergency responders have been hit by cars and injured while working on the side of Wisconsin roads in the past five years. The Department of Natural Resources says November’s state law of the month is the Move Over Law. It requires drivers to move out of the lane closest to stopped police cars, ambulances, fire trucks, and utility or maintenance vehicles to avoid hitting a responder.
