Multiple Injuries at Local Orchard

At least three people were seriously injured and remain in the hospital after a wagon flipped during a school field trip to the apple orchard in Chippewa Falls. The cart at the Bushel and a Peck Apple Orchard fell on to its side yesterday morning.  Dozens of kids from  St. Mark Lutheran School in Eau Claire were at the orchard at the time for a field trip.
