Speed Violation Leads to OWI

Wilma J Peeples, 37 years of age, from Chicago, IL has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 1st offense, with three children in the vehicle under the age of 16.  On Sunday, September 29, 2024, at approximately 10:57 AM a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped a vehicle on I-94 eastbound near milepost 76 for a speed violation.  The Trooper observed signs of impairment and a subsequent investigation, showed the driver, Wilma J Peeples from Chicago, IL, was operating the motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled
