Preliminary unemployment rates for August are down in Wisconsin. The State Department of Workforce Development says the non-seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is two-point-five, down from three-point-three in July. The department says rates decreased in all twelve metropolitan areas in August, as well as over the last year. The City of Janesville has an all-time low unemployment rate of two-point-five percent.
