Wisconsin’s new standardized test scores show huge jumps in reading and math, but critics say that’s only because the state changed the test scores. The state’s Department of Public Instruction yesterday reported 12 point gains in both reading and math proficiency. But Quinton Klabon with the Institute for Reforming Government says that’s because DPIU changed how the Forward Exam and ACT are graded.
