A record number of new positive COVID-19 tests was reported today, with 1547 new positive tests and with 17.54% of the tests being positive. The distribution of cases is still heavily in the 20-29 age range. Many of the recent positive tests have come from Dane County, with a heavy concentration in the University, which has recently caused a near-lockdown on the campus.
However, the numbers throughout the state seem to be on the rise. Locally Dunn County still remains at a low rate of infection, with 215 confirmed cases total and a rate of 480.2 cases per 100,000 population (this is one of the lower rates in the state).
